Patient Support Program Services - Helaglobe

PATIENT SUPPORT PROGRAM: we support people with pathologies

We develop patient support systems that enrich the health care provided by the National Health Service, facilitate access to treatment so as to increase treatment adherence and improve therapeutic outcomes and quality of life.

What is a Patient Support Program

The Patient Support Program (PSP) is a set of personalized services designed to assist patients in their course of treatment. These programs, supported and funded by companies, offer additional support to that provided by the National Health Service (NHS), facilitating access to treatment and improving treatment adherence.

Why implement a Patient Support Program?

A Patient Support Program (PSP) is not just an additional service, but a strategic investment in improving the quality of health care and the lives of patients. PSPs offer a range of benefits for everyone:

Benefits for patients

Increased therapeutic adherence

Correctly following therapies is critical to achieving the best clinical outcomes. PSPs provide the support needed to overcome obstacles and maintain therapies over time.

Through personalized services, PSPs help patients better manage their disease, increasing their autonomy and well-being.

Feeling understood and supported is critical for every patient. PSPs offer a more humane and individually centered care experience.

Benefits for companies

Image enhancement

PSPs demonstrate the company’s commitment to patients and the community.

Increased therapeutic adherence results in better clinical outcomes and physician satisfaction.

A well-designed PSP can help reduce the costs associated with chronic disease management.

Benefits to the health care system

Improved clinical outcomes

Improved therapeutic adherence results in better patient outcomes.

Better management of chronic conditions can lead to reduced health care costs.

PSPs can help optimize the use of resources and improve the organization of health services.

Helaglobe's Patient Support Programs

A PSP, for us, is not just a set of services. It is an opportunity to create a supportive ecosystem that puts the person with disease at the center, improving their quality of life and optimizing the effectiveness of care.

  • We listen to patients: We actively collaborate with patient associations to fully understand their needs and challenges.
  • We co-create innovative solutions: We design tailored PSPs, involving all stakeholders, to ensure maximum effectiveness and sustainability.
  • We use technology to benefit the patient: We integrate digital tools to improve patient experience and service efficiency.
  • We measure impact: We constantly evaluate the impact of our PSPs to ensure continuous improvement and optimization.

MS Fit, the first Serious Game against multiple sclerosis

MS-FIT, is the world’s first exergame designed and developed for people with Multiple Sclerosis, enabling them to perform the Adapted Physical Activity they need for their well-being.

The video game allows people with MS to perform the exercises from the comfort of their own homes but under close monitoring by the doctor, who receives the patient’s data and progress through the platform.

The game was developed as a PSP together with Roche, with the collaboration of twelve Italian neurological centers and the Fondazione Italiana Sclerosi Multipla (FISM).
